THE CLASS:
12.00-15.00:
Rope workshop with the theme of Butoh and the unexpressed depth and darkness.

Butoh is a japanese dance exploring the hidden tabus inside ourselves. It uses slow and distorted movements to express the thoughts and emotions we usually suppress through a flirt with the dark unconscious. https://youtu.be/RQcn55T-jNE

In this class we will explore the world of Butoh through the ropes.

The class will be guided by rope practitioner and Butoh lover Noel Jayashree and Molly Lindau.

16.00-20.(ish)
From 16 there will be an open practice space. Bring your ropes and friends, or come alone. Everything from playful sessions to technical practice is welcome.
Throughout the evening me and Noel will be there to facilitate and assist you in your rope practice.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

This class is for people who have earlier taken a beginners course with me or have basic skills of Shibari from elsewhere.

You can both sign up alone or come with a friend or partner.
