Welcome to one of Europe’s biggest and most lavish burlesque events: the unmissable Stockholm Burlesque Festival! Filling our beautiful northern city with glamour and amazing talent in styles as diverse as classic and neo burlesque, boylesque, circus, drag, dance, live music, comedy and cabaret including top solo performers, ravishing duo acts and spectacular troupe numbers from 16 countries!
The festival runs on the 7 & 8 of October weekend with two nights of show-stopping performances plus live music, workshops, an exhibition, the Octbooberfest Tasseltwirl Championship, and fantastic DJs at Nalen's beautiful gilded ballroom.

Our performers are as diverse as they are amazing and represent the Best in international Burlesque. Australian superstar Imogen Kelly is our main festival headliner and the first time we have a “Reigning Queen of Burlesque” / “Miss Exotic World” (2012) - the biggest burlesque award on the planet! Imogen is not only an amazing performer but also a scholar, activist and comedienne. Luminous Pariah is our Boylesque superstar from Seattle USA, a gorgeous mix of burlesque, dance and performance art. One of Great Britains most beloved hosts Lili la Scala on her Swedish debut will wow us with her witty hosting, the most glamourous vintage wardrobe and her beautiful singing voice. Alongside a rich line-up of very talented Swedish and international performers, we present two internationally headlining acrobatic circus duos: Duo Vilja (swe) and Leo and Teo (us) who have been specially invited to the festival. We are also delighted that the Swedish troupe The Amazing Knicker Kittens, will be re-forming their award winning line-up for our Friday night show.

Burlesque is an established, largely feminist creative artform growing in popularity around the world questioning sexuality, gender norms and beauty standards with humor and stripptease offering high production vintage inspired glamourous entertainment and beauty in a modern twist. The festival was initiated 2010 by Dutchess and The Amazing Knicker Kittens and taken over 2013 by the Bichard Studios production duo.
