The Silver Birch School for Maid Servants presents: Maid Training Weekend Saturday 28 February / Sunday 1 March 750SEK for the full weekend TIMES AND LOCATION WILL FOLLOW UPON REGISTRATION Spaces are limited so register as soon as possible at info@the-academy.se to ensure your spot A full weekend of training sesssions for those who wish to learn how to serve as maid servants in a BDSMF context by j, head of the recently formed Silver Birch School for Maid Servants (http://www.mwxj.org/maid-school.html). This is no simple roleplay. This is serious servant training. The weekend series of lessons focuses on applicable skills to a real standard and is taught by j who trained in London and has over 10 years’ experience as a maid and teaching other maids. The course teaches the necessity of genuine obedience, respect and competent maid service in a BDSMF context. You will learn by doing. We will begin with an introduction, discussion and negotiation but immediately following you will be in uniform and expected to behave as maids, which includes being obedient, respectful and disciplined to your trainer. Note: You will be expected to accept discipline and correction as negotiated with your trainer and agree to this before the weekend begins. You will be sent rules that you will be expected to read and agree to prior to attending the weekend. This weekend is open to people who wish to train to be maids only. You will be expected to train as a maid for the entire weekend series of courses except for a brief negotiation before beginning and breaks between lessons. You will follow a simple dress code, or you will not be permitted to train. Course outline for the weekend: The weekend will be broken up into two days of lessons. Each lesson focusing on a different area of domestic service as a maid in a BDSMF context. The goal of the weekend is to give a broad and detailed introduction to maid service. The first class is aimed at new students to the school. You must attend this class if you have not previously trained at The Silver Birch School to continue with the weekend classes, and it is highly recommended for returning students too. Here you will learn basic skills such as deportment, attitude, dress, and behavior. You will learn how to stand, listen, speak and take orders in the proper, formal manner. You will learn the essential skills necessary to be maid servants. In this session you will learn exactly how you must serve at all times. Following this there will be classes covering a wide variety of domestic services, all performed to the highest standard and in a formal manner. Classes will include: •Household protocol - How to attend to those you serve, including how to answer the door, taking coats, greeting, holding chairs, serving in the correct order and more. •Tea service - How to serve a fomal tea in the correct manner. •Meal service - How to serve a formal meal in the correct manner. •Working as a household of servants - How to work as a group of servants, silently but efficiently in a room •Cleaning - How to clean meticulously, formally and silently by hand including dusting, mopping, dish wasking, laundry, clothes starching and ironing •... and more The weekend will conclude with a test and a presentation of a certificate of achievement to students. The weekend will also allow for ample discussion, negotiation and after-care discussions. More details of the schedule will be given to you upon registration. Maid role This is a course for those who wish to learn to serve in the traditionally “maid” role. It is open to anyone and everyone whatever their gender/sexual identification. However this course is focused on the role of the traditional maid servant, a position commonly defined as feminine. In our school we take this definition in the broadest possible sense, however, during training sessions themselves this is the role that you will be asked to reproduce. For example, maids wear skirts/dresses as part of their uniform and are addressed using feminine pronouns and terms when they are in service. Dress Code We do not expect maids to have a uniform when they start, but there is a very strict dress code for the course. All maids attending the course must wear either: A white blouse or shirt with long sleeves that buttons up to a collar and a black knee length skirt. All clothes must be clean and neat. OR A full, practical and modest cotton-based maid uniform. Such a uniform is a minimum of a black and white uniform dress and white apron (ideally including a cap and gloves). Lingerie-style uniforms or uniforms in other materials are not acceptable for this course. Uniforms that are too short in the skirt or too deep cut in the top are not acceptable for this course.
